The weather is wonderful today, you think, three weeks of continuous rain finally coming to a halt. Deciding to go outdoors for a breath of fresh air, you run into a classmate on the way, and listening to them complain about the Mensa makes you want to sample the “worst-tasting dish in history” as well. After parting ways, you continue eastward and cross that bridge, where you see mallards with their heads buried in their wings, sleeping as if anchored to the river surface. You wonder how they manage to be so indifferent to both the cold and the heat. Between the railings of the bridge are numerous spiderwebs, with passing little flying insects trapped upon them. A victory for the opportunists. But the webs cannot trap you, you think in free fall, closing your eyes and hoping you haven’t crashed into the Egyptian goose you saw a few days ago.

今天天气真好，你想，持续三周阴雨终于停了。你决定去户外透气，路上碰到同学，听对方吐槽食堂时说也想品鉴一下“史上最难吃的菜”。告别后继续往东，走过那座桥，你看到绿头鸭把头埋在翅膀里，像铆定在河面上一样睡觉。你想知道它们怎么做到既不怕冷又不怕热的。桥上的栏杆之间有很多蜘蛛网，来往的小飞虫都被困在上面。投机主义者的胜利。但蛛网困不住你，你在降落过程中想，闭上眼，希望没有砸到前几天看到的埃及鹅。
